About Deep Dive Cultural Experiences
Deep Dive Cultural Experiences began in 2015, when friends Corey Adam and Frank Miao started their adventure to Japan to teach English as a second language.
Since returning to Sydney, they have combined their passion for making a difference in the lives of their students with a desire to share their love of their hometown of Sydney. This led them to starting their business.
Corey and Frank are keen to show you the rich culture and sophistication that Sydney has to offer, while providing a nurturing environment throughout your tour.
During your tour you will learn to speak English more naturally, developing your language skills but also widening your world view. We want to help build confidence in people wanting to learn ‘practical English’.
Our goal is to make sure that everyone who tours with DDCE experiences our renowned personal support. We also provide that extra motivation to take on challenges in a new linguistic and cultural environment.
Frank Miao - Director
Frank completed a Bachelor of Asia-Pacific Studies, which included spending three semesters as an exchange student in Japan. After graduating, he taught English for four years in different cities in Japan in the public school system.
His experience, both as a study-abroad student and as a teacher, helps to ensure that all who tour with DDCE will be comfortable and thoroughly enjoy both study and recreation time throughout their stay.
Frank is also fluent in Mandarin.
Corey Adam - Director
Corey completed a Masters of Education and is a qualified high school teacher, primarily as a sports educator. He taught English in Japan for three years in the public school system.
Following his time in Japan, he spent one year teaching in Cambridge, England, working with children from many different cultures.
His passion and energy for sports (especially football) and his understanding of different cultures helps to motivate students to use English in a hands-on environment on tour. Everyone can expect to enjoy the cultural experiences and other activities.
Having grown up in this beautiful city, Corey will make you feel comfortable and right at home even if it is your first time abroad.
